Ok guys I've been doing some internet research looking at 2014-2017 2500 and 3500 diesels. On some of them with pics of the instrument panel with the truck idling the oil pressure gauge looks like it is at the very low end of the gauge. Is this normal when idling? Also about what pressure should there be when driving if I go for a test drive?

My 2011 2500 cummins with 289k on it sits at 47 pounds while driving, 40-42 while idling. 40 is half on my gauge

The oil pressure and engine oil temp, are calculated values on cummins trucks.
