My temps are as follows on a 75 degree day. After approx 10 miles they topped out at: coolant 212…transmission 186…oil 214…oil pressure 47-48 at 1500 rpm. Was not towing anything and was mostly driving 45-50 mph with just a few red lights. Seems a little high for coolant, but do these trucks just run at that temp maybe?

Normal. They run these engines warm for emissions and fuel economy. I put a 190 degree thermostat in mine. It shaved a few degrees off the oil and coolant temps.

Pretty normal. If you tow with it the coolant really won't get a lot higher except in hills but the oil temp will get 230+. I have never seen Trans temp get very high at all even when in mountains.

IF you have shutters, they are probably still closed at those temps (they definitely are closed on my 2016 at those temps) - unless you are running the AC and have had it on for a while..

Well today it did something it’s never done. Had to get on a 2 lane hwy for about 15 miles. Mostly ran 60-65 and the coolant would get up to 217 and suddenly drop back to 203-204 then slowly crawl back up to 217 then back down to 203. It would go from 217 to 203-204 in less than a minute. Shutters not opening til 217 maybe? Transmission ran a little cooler than it’s normal 183-186. It dropped to 177-178 while at Hwy speed. Oil 220-225 the whole time.

217 to 203 is your engine’s thermostat opening and closing.

So it has a 217 thermostat? I know they run a little hotter for fuel mileage, but didn't think it would be that high. Around town it runs around 200-205.

My coolant would not see over 206f under the same conditions, mostly 203f coolant. 2010, I don't have those shutters. I don't see your location, I'd delete those if not located in ice belt.

You can do temp deletes for that 8 speed as well, good move imo. Oil is very normal, but when you take temp out that will come down as well. I worry about oil at 260f, if it gets that high idle it down, even a little lower then that 10f or so. CAFE goals are the reasons for these temps, nothing else, take the gov't out of your engine, they do not care about the longevity of your engine.

Yeah...saw a youtube video where a guy took the shutters out, took off all but the top and bottom so as to trick the computer thinking it was still working. I may try that.
