Not sure if I can do a poll on Tapatalk about this.

I curious as to how many will do higher then factory. Meaning who is happy with oem height vs a lift. For me I would love to do at least 3.5”s paired with a good set of 18” wheels/ tires. I love the look of the 6” lifts that I am seeing, but know I will never have a use for that much. I’m waiting to see what BDS brings to the table before I make a solid decision.

I may do a little 2” but definitely going 33-10.5 when the time comes.

I love trucks with small lifts ( 3” or so), stock rims with a nice set of oversized mud tires.

But if you use your truck for work.... specifically the bed, lifts make it a PITA in my opinion. Especially in the already tall HD’s. My tailgate down is well above waist level with no lift and 35” tires.

Id love to lift. But i use my bed to much. And it makes trailer and 5th wheel hookups more difficult.

I think my 3.5" lift with 34" tires on my 1500 makes it looks more like a heavy duty truck (2500). Going with a 6" lift with 35's or 37's would probably look a lot like my old 2500 with a 4" lift and 35's. I agree with U&A above - it does make it harder to get things in and out of the bed.
I'm pretty happy with the overall stance of my truck now, though I might have preferred a SLIGHTLY negative offset on my wheels (got +1) . Have even considered doing a little 1/4 - 1/2" spacer. Probably not worth the effort. I may go with 35s at some point.

My plan is readylift sst 3.5” with gently used 34’s I took off my old truck on stock 18’s. Then when the tires are done 20’s on 35’s, unless I can find an aftermarket 18 I like to fit over the calipers and 35’s

I wouldn't mind a lift, I think they look good. But for practicality reasons, no, it'll stay stock.
