I have a 2014 Tradesman 4x4 crew cab long bed. Im thinking about new tires and rims. I'm thinking I will keep the stock tire size (265/70r17) and wheel diameter (17x8.5) but I'd like a 9 instead of 8.5. Does anyone have an easy answer as to what backspacing/offset I should look for. Id like the tire to stick out slightly from the fender without fender flares but that's not a necessity. I searched for info but couldn't find the specifics and offset an backspacing is still a little unclear for me. Thanks in advance.

Also. I am open to larger/wider tire sizes. I just don't want to lift or level at this point.

I'm looking on getting the stock 20 inch wheel/tire setup on my 1500 but I would like the tires to stick out some. Does anyone know what negative offset I can get away with without any mods or a lift?
