Does anyone know of a oil catch can that will fit on a 2017 Ram 1500 with 5.7 hemi and still use the stock engine cover that doesn't cost a arm and a leg? I've been checking and a lot of them are listed for 2017 Ram 1500 with 5.7 but when I put my vehicle in to check for fitment, They always say they wont fit. Any help would be appreciated.

IMO

Dont go cheap. The better brands actually do a better job. Look at what the gasses have to pass through. My favorite is this brand.

And upgrade to the braided hoses. They will last forever

I can post more pictures if you are interested. This OCC is of amazing quality and condenses the gases very well.

Billet Tech from Moe's Performance. They do an excellent job, however, they are a little more expensive than Amazon. Lots of guy on here run them and seem to be really satisfied with their performance.

Ebay one for me. Had this one on my 17, left it on when trading and bought the same one for my 19 classic.
Bought the 19 on dec 28th, ordered tha can jan 3rd.
Which ever you choose ,GET ONE!! They stop ALOT of crap from getting re ingested into the engine!

I got this from Ebay. Wish2016 is the seller.

Pretty sure this is the one I bought as well. Maybe I'm crazy or maybe I'm missing a piece, but I can't figure out how to get the bracket attached to the can, that allows you to secure it in the engine compartment. How did yours turn out?

Do you have the "Z" bracket?

I grabbed one of the z bracket CCs for our trucks from Amazon that was around $110. Does the same good job as the $30 CC I bought the first time around to see how good they work!

Just went back and looked in my purchase history and yep, same exact seller and item that Roadhouse posted above. The "Z" bracket comes not attached, and shy of taking the top half of the CC completely apart (which doesn't look like that should happen), and even if it did, I didn't see any hardware (bolt, washer, nut, etc) that would be needed to attach the bracket to the can itself...

Can you post a link? Just did a search of Amazon and it said none fit a Ram 1500...

There is a cupped and formed to fit the can piece that's held on with a tiny allen head screw. Then attach the tubular piece to that and then the bracket. It came with no instructions.

What year is your Ram, Lyle?

Says 09-16 and even though everything I've read about all other mods and parts is that 09-18 (and 19 Classics) are all the same, even in the questions and answers, someone specifically said it won't work for 2018's. Of course that's what I have!
2011, maybe it won’t fit, but it the same setup as UPR/Moes Billet. I know the 19’s are different, not sure if your 18 is different as well.

I've got a Billet Tech unit and it does a great job. A bit expensive, but works like a champ.
