Mine uses the Fram Ultra XG10060 (small filter) or the Fram Ultra XG2 (some what larger filter).

Why would you bring your own oil and an incorrect aftermarket oil filter to the dealer?

Why would you bring your own oil and an incorrect aftermarket oil filter to the dealer?

1. May be cheaper to supply your own oil and filter.
2. Dealer may not offer your preferred brand of oil or filter
3. Not everyone has the time, inclination, ability, or equipment to change their own oil.
