Oil pump issues

Looking for advice for my 2005 5.7 Hemi, been having issues with the oil pressure. Truck lost oil pressure and began ticking loudly on freeway, towed home, no damage to engine, oil clean and filter were clean. Forced pressured oil into engine and it ran fine. Ran it on its own pump and only had 10psi. Came back a week later and it is now running fine with a consistent ideal at 25psi. Unsure if the pump value is the issue or not. Any advice is welcomed.

Possible clogged screen o oil pickup tube , may have dislodged debris from forced oil pressure.
Seems to me like it’s time to drop the pan for a visual inspection.

change oil change filter agian also cold oil pressure needs to be 50 ish psi hot idle 25 is ok also how many miles on it.

New update:

Dropped the oil pan and went to replace the oil pump, found about a cup worth of dried sludge like material in the pan and the pump was caked in that material as well as the underside of the engine. The pick screen was packed with material. There was no metal in anything thankfully. Unsure what to do next. Im assuming that there are large amounts of material still in the engine. Not sure if putting it back together and run multiple flushes through it to try and clean it. Or if there is another option that works better.
