When I was changing the oil in my wifes '11 Ram, I noticed that there was oil on the bottom of the oil filter.
At first, I thought that the filter wasn't put on correctly last oil change.
Upon looking into it further, I noticed that there is a sensor on the front of the block, above the oil filter that seems to be leaking.
Is this an oil sensor? If so, how hard/easy is it to change out myself? Looks pretty simple.

Thank you.

Possibly could be an oil temperature sensor.

It's the oil pressure sensor.

Okay, thanks.
Next question.
Is it a part that should just be changed out? (There are no warnings or lights coming on.) Or, could I just remove it, put some type of thread seal on it and put it back in?

Seal and reinstall as long as it's still functioning correctly.

This and make sure the sensor does not have a hairline crack. I have resealed sensor threads with no issues and seen sensors cracked also.
