Oil temps

I am sure this has been discussed before, but what temps does your 3.6 Pentastar run at when fully warmed up and cruising the highways? My stayed at 225 on a 3 hour drive and that seems a bit high to me. Or is that normal?

225 and less 100% normal. You may want to look into ester based fluids, but your temps any synthetic oil will be just fine. Keep an eye on it, maybe 240 I would start being a little concerned, at 250f I become concerned and would shorten my oil change interval. On a long trip the minimum temp should be 212, so you are not that high. Your in Texas too in summer, 100% normal.
