Optimal settings for Rev limit and shift points

I recently purchased a Bully Dog GT Platinum Tuner for my 2012 Dodge ram 5.7l Hemi. Going through the set up, it asks about changing the rev limit and shift points. Anyone have any experience with changing these? i have ZERO! Just looking for some guidance.

I don't know about the bull dog but I have the diablo and I set my 1-2 shift at 2150 RPM and my 2-3 shift at 2200 RPM and got good results. The rev limiter I haven't messed with it nor never have hit it so not sure.
