Hello... This is my saga with my 2019 Power Wagon. It all started out with a problem where I would be cruising along at about 45 mph and try to accelerate quickly. The engine would spool up to a bit over 5000 RPM, but the transmission didn’t downshift so I basically just maintained speed or even began to slow down. I took the truck to the dealer and since there were no DTC’s, they could not diagnose it. A few weeks later, I was able to video record what happened and that was sent off to FCA and they suggested that all of the modules be reset. This appeared to have fixed the problem for about 6 weeks. I happened to have to take a long trip with the truck and noticed that the coolant temp would climb to almost 219 degrees before it would be allowed to come back down to around 204-209. Shortly after the temperature would increase to that level, my forward collision warning system would go off-line. Once the temperature reduced, the FCW system would come back on-line. My questions...1. Is this normal behavior that the temperature is allowed to go this high before it is allowed to cool back down? 2. If it appears that the temperature control module is faulty, is this in any way related to the transmission module that could be controlling the shifting? 3. Could this be a main CPU issue? Thanks for any insight!

Im not much help for you with most of your questions, but will say I believe my coolant temp is usually up around there. I will check here later today and report back....

Try running the defrost and/or the AC while your driving to see if the temperatures stay lower. If so the AGS is what's influencing the elevated temperature.
I wouldn't worry about the coolant temperature in that range, if you pull a trailer it will probably stay in that range or slightly higher. Nothing to be concerned about if your running a full synthetic oil.
