So I was cruising down a rural highway at 60mph, come to a hill and truck goes to downshift. Felt like I was rear ended and CEL light comes on. I pull into a gas station and pull codes P0729 & P0735. I reset codes and truck has been driving normal ever since. I had P0729 & P0735 show as pending codes the next day. But after several days of driving all seems normal and pending codes went away.
Any clue what may have happened? Did shift solenoid or speed sensor flake?

Praying it keeps driving like normal.

I am not a mechanic
BUT

I would not be surprised if main computer & transmission had a qlitch, got mixed up climbing a Grade, downshifting & throttling up

My 2009 Hemi powered 1500, always did something similar at 70 mph, when the highway dipped & just as it started ascending the next climb.
I was thrust back in my seat & i did not know what to think, Cruise Control is not suppose to act like that

The cruise seems to be an all or nothing thing. It seems to go to WOT when speed starts dropping versus gradually increasing. The truck felt like it dropped 2 gears immediately vs sequentially.

Hoping and praying it was a computer glitch.
