Painted Bed caps

I've searched forums but can't seem to find if there's bed caps that are pre-colored available or do we have to that ourselves. Plastidip?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

All good, I already new what you were asking, just making sure. I have looked before on rail caps that are colored from the manufacturer, but came up with nothing. I think black is standard and if you want them color keyed you have to do it yourself. I was told by a body shop that painting the trim like the tailgate cap was a bad idea because it would just chip off with the textured surface. PlastiDip would probably work well as long as you aren't doing some heavy rubbing on it, I did it to my tailgate cap and it was peeling within a month because I use my truck.

I called BS on the shop because I see trucks rollin' all over with plastic trim painted, I think the key is to get prepped and cleaned really good to allow for the best adhesion of the paint.
