Numerous threads on doing this so I will spare the details but I used regular primer and it cracked so I sanded more and then used the Krylon Fusion Black on both pieces then sprayed the mineral gray over the background piece. Cleared both so hopefully it will hold up. Finally warm enough today that I pulled off the front one and swapped out. Big thanks to Thor09 for selling me both front and back for a good price. I hope to do the back once it warms up as I it's too cold to even attempt pulling it off. I'm really happy with the results.

Thanks guys. Really wish the back one was 2 pieces so I didn't have to try and mask it off.
