Hey guys hope this is the right section. on my 05 2500 i just got done flushing out my power steering system and my truck was sitting in the driveway while i cleaning up my tools and my parking lamps just turned on and i cant get them to turn off. I already tried replacing the park lamp relay with no success. The trucks doesnt have a security alarm however has a factory remote start. Any help would be awesome guys, Thanks! :D

well just a update but when i remove the relay the parking lamps go off, however when i take the Front Control Module (FCM) off they stay on and i have heard that these fuses boxes are notorious for needing replaced. Also the parking lights go off when im in reverse but any other gear they stay on. This is weird..

Quite an odd problem. Keep us updated, and I'll see if I can think of anything. But a fuse box, PCM, or switch is all I can think that would cause that.

Well it turns out it needs a new PDC (power Distribution center is the fancy technical name, i call the darn thing a fuse box) and it said it was gonna be $500 from the dealership but i had a few questions if anyone can answer. Can i pull one from another dodge and have it reprogrammed for mine or do i HAVE to buy a new one? Also does it have to be in the vehicle to program it? Because i wanna just bring the new one in, get it programmed and bring it back home to replace it because i imagine you cant drive the truck with a not programmed Fuse box.

Does a fuse box need to be programmed? Figured it could just be replaced.

Me too, but i guess it holds alot of the information for the computers in the fuse box as well like the vehicle VIN and the current millage of the vehicle and needs to be programmed for all the features on the vehicle like remote start etc..
