The Save20 discount code no longer applies to the Pedal Commander on that website due to “brand restrictions”. Funny how that happened. Congrats to whoever got one at the 20% off price.

I guess i just dont understand why people buy these PC`s... other than it must speed you thru the rainbows quicker.
Correct me if i`m wrong, but all its doing is fooling the throttle signal, hence, quicker throttle response.
Have ya`ll gotten that slow on the pedal...??? And the pedal pressure isn`t that rough on your foot.

I dunno.... big waste of money in my opinion.... money well spent somewhere else :(

I wouldn’t mind having one, but I can’t bring myself to blow that kind of cash on it. Maybe I’m cheap, but it’s not worth $200+ to me.

Its easy to put down the product when you have not tried it. I was guilty of this myself. I told numerous people that it was a waste, especially those who already had custom tuning. After numerous customers begged me to try it, I finally bought one and have not looked back since. It completely transforms the feel of the truck in your day to day driving in a way that you cannot match by just stepping down on the pedal further. I think if you guys tried one on your own truck, your opinion of the product would change.

I’m not putting it down, I’d like to get one. I’ve read enough reviews on this forum to know it’s a good product. I just don’t want to pay that much $$ for it.

I was more responding to the post before yours stating that it was a waste. Having said that, there is no other part on the market for less than $300 that is going to make as noticeable of a change as the Pedal Commander in your day to day driving. $300 may seem like a lot of money, but you would end up spending a lot more than that to even try to match the gains in driveability that it offers.

I was one of the poo-poo'rs, at least in my thought process - never really posted on it as I had not actually used one so did not have any actual experience with one. Anyway, I ran across a used one so decided wth I would try it - and I am impressed. I like it more for removing the pedal lag than anything else, and would run it on City mode more often than not, occasionally bumping up to Sport Mode.

However, I didn't want to mount/stick it on any panel (just a personal preference, I hate anything sticky/adhesive on my interiors), so upgraded to the BT model, which will be here Sat I think.

Now, I agree I think it's overpriced. Even getting it on Labor Day Sale I think this is a product that should cost quite a bit less. It's not like some products that are vehicle specific - thus a limited market driving the price higher - PC's are made for many, many vehicles so there is no limited market price driven application. IMO it should really cost about half of what it does... Unfortunately Toys for Boys always seem to cost more than they should :).

Well said guys. The Pedal Commander is a product that definitely falls under "dont knock it unless you tried it". I also thought it was a gimmick at 1st. Then after talking to numerous people about it, including one person who has a Raptor with a stage 2 Roush supercharger kit, 4.88 gears, and custom tuning. he says it made a huge difference and wouldn't run the truck without it. So I tried it and I instantly loved it. It makes a huge difference and foot on pedal speed will NOT match what the PC can do.

Even tunes can not match the throttle response and adjust ability to the PC has. To me they are 2 separate products and one does not replace the other however they not only can be used together, they should be used together.

I once thought the same..... but eventually the endless glowing reviews tempted me to see if the PC lived up to the hype. Put simply, it absolutely does. You're missing out on a far more enjoyable driving experience.

Mine should be coming in today and I can't wait to try it out!

I had to drop off my Ram at the dealer an hour ago for recalls and tire size flash(finally). So I disconnected my PC at home to drive to the stealership. Oh wow...my truck is a dog w/o the PC. I keep the PC in Sport, +1. What a difference. It was a miserable drive. No snappy throttle response, throttle lag...ugghhhh.
