I just ordered a pedal commnader for my 2018 2500 6.4 hemi. Looking for anyone that goes and uses their pedal commander when doing so. I tow a 10k travel trailer that’s 38ft so just curious what setting others use.

I haven't towed 10k with it but it definitely changes the feel of the truck completely. You can just ease into the pedal now and the truck just goes and feels like it lost 1500 pounds. I run it on Sport +2. Rain, shine, snow or sleet. Have never touched it and never had a problem.

Tow a 34 ft. TT with my 2500. PC certainly helps, no matter what the terrain or circumstance. Better throttle response is a no brainer..

I run sport +2 ,most of the time. Tow a bumper pull 30' a lot. I have noticed at lower elevations I have to turn it down to sport +1 or it lites up the tires at every stop.

I just installed my PC Saturday, I initially had it set to city +2 and have since gone with +3. It is a day and night difference compared to no PC, all I can say is get it and enjoy.

I started on Sport +1 then next day I bumped it to Sport +2 and it has been like that for the last year. Have not towed with it.

Mine stays at Sport +4 for both street driving and towing. I have gotten so used to the instant response at this setting that the truck just feels sluggish if I try running anything less than that.

My PC is in city +2, play time I kick it up to sport +2. When I get crazy and show off sport2 +4 and it's a rocket. It's not as fast with my Carvan exhaust, but I get rubber in the first four gears.

Sport 1 or 2 for me. Most of our customers seem to like similar settings as well

DAMN DANIEL! All ya'll got some need for speed with your sport modes LMAO! I just have the Pentastar and I run city +2 and the difference is noticeable. We're not talkin barely noticeable either. If I'm running with the cruise control on and I give it fuel to pass, the difference makes me momentarily panic before I remember Pedal Commander doesn't run with the cruise control on. For a few seconds after pressing the gas pedal more and more I think, hell! what's wrong with the motor?

Looks like Lonestar 14 is running city mode as well. I wonder if the difference is more noticeably because we aren't as powerful to begin with and the throttle response stands out more.

I recently got a ram 1500 5.7, I had a 06 dakota with the 4.7 then got the complete superchips tuner with trans tunes and all. Then That got totaled, but before the yard took it, I removed the tune ;) and got a 03 ram 2500 5.7 and was able to the use the same tune, just couldn't tune the trans on a 03 but man it was great throttle. I want to get one of these but I'm wanting to get another ram 2500 5.7 4th gen, I just need to make sure I can use it on my 2012 1500 for now and then use it on the next 2500 I get. Which would be a 2013+ I'd like to get the 6.4 but I want to supercharge my truck and I know that 6.4 isn't the best to do that with.

It can be used on your 2012 1500, you can also use it on the 2500. Just check out the Pedal Commander website.

Is the improvement mostly off of the line?

I tow a 32' Travel Trailer. I start to notice it more with wind resistance, rather than off the line (above 50mph).

I have to admit, I am addicted to the response. Totally changes the truck feel. But I do keep mine on Sport +2 - I tried Sport+ and +2 and barked the tires almost every time!
