FYI, loaded my quad on Wednesday to meet up with friends. It's 800 lbs+ and the truck handled it with ease. Hand to drive it about 150 kms one way and there were lots of hills. Milage was around 11-12 litres per hundred. I'm impressed with the way the truck pulled on the hills. There was a bit of sagging but I intend to fix this issue during the winter with a set of airbags.
i thought about putting it in tow mode at the start but just completely forgot about it. Didn't notice any excessive shifting with the extra weight on board. will post a picture later with the quad in the bed.

just asking but what kind of range will you see on the open road? As a reference I can see 1050-1100 kms with the 100L tank:favorites13:

That's a really good range for the hemi. I have the big tank and and on fairly level terrain in Ontario and Quebec going 115kph i got just 1310 and needed a fill up. Hilly terrain in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia it goes down to less then 1000. It's just getting broke in and just turned up 11000kms.

Well, finally home and a years worth of driving on my truck. 20187kms and it was purchased in April. I gotta say that the Pentastar so far is great, enough power for me even to haul a 6x10 enclosed trailer with my ATV inside. Economy drops drastic when towing. No towing and it's get around 8.5 to 11 litres per 100 kms. depending on highway speeds.
I know the origin of this thread was about performance upgrades for the Pentastar engine. Over this winter I will purchase and install a CAI but searching the web I don't see many upgrades for my engine.

There are many times that I wish I still had this truck.

I have the V6 with the 392 tow package.... CC 2WD BH
Your vehicle description states 3.6l Pentastar which is available with the 3.21 or 3.55. The 3.92 is available on the 3.0l EcoDiesel V6 and 5.7 Hemi from the factory. So either your salesman told you lie, or it the gearing was installed after it left the factory.
Someone on this forum posted about having it done. Considering this is your first post, I doubt it was you.

I saw that thread. He actually claimed the dealer put in the 4.5 gears or whatever it is, not the 3.92. Said it took the 0-60 time down to 5.5 [emoji848]
