Anyone have any issues with phone connection to their Truck? Once in a while while I am on a phone call, the person on the other end is not able to hear me. I can hear them, but they can't hear me. I have to end the call and call back and then it seems to work fine. I had a 2015 Ram 1500 Sport before this and no issues. I have the 25W - Rebel 12A system in my 2019.

I see this in every make and model of car and every make and model of phone. So much for standards and quality control on the software. Very frustrating they can't figure this out. I'm sure it's not simple, but still doesn't seem like enough resources are being put to this issue. I put at least some of the blame on the Bluetooth standard, which is an ill-be-gotten standard to begin with. Almost wish they'd put the good old fashion audio plug back into smartphones (most people do, but the OEMs don't listen)

It's been discussed a lot on the other forum. Mine does this as well, you can transfer to the phone then transfer back and get them back without another phone call. My dealer promised an update would be pushed but I've never seen it.

the problem I have is that when a phone is plugged in for charging, the radio konks out and I get a message about searching for music or other media on the phone. I have not been able to figure out to keep it from doing that except to use an adapter in the 12v outlet on the top of the dash. I would rather be able to plug into one of the usb outlets at the bottom and not have a cord dangling from the top. anyone know how to make this work right? this is a hassle as I am coming from a gmc sierra where all I had to do was toss my android phone on the console and it started charging..no muss, no fuss and no crazyness from the truck's media center.

Hi 19REBEL,

I'm sorry to hear of the trouble you experience when attempting to use Bluetooth in your truck. If you haven't done so already, I recommend addressing this with your dealer as they are in the best position to assist further. Should you do so, please know that we are more than happy to provide you with an extra layer of support for that process.

I have some issues like this with the FCA work caravans I have over the years, being intermittent with the connection. I would try to delete, and then re- pair your phone again and see if that helps. It did on my end.

Just purchased a 2019 2500 Longhorn. I too have the issue where as I am in a call, the other party at some point can no longer hear me. Very frustrating. Took the truck to my dealer and was told an update will be out soon?
