I've got quite a few different ideas for colors for the new headlight projector retrofit. For the photoshop pros out there, if you'd like to help me out a bit i'd REALLLLLY appreciate it.

1. I'll be using my trucks current headlights, so the base picture needs to stay the base picture. I will be keeping the eyelids, the black painted surround, and the tinted markers.

2. I need the shroud/projector photoshopped into the bowl, and then different color patterns played around with.

Heres a couple of ideas:

- All black everything (both bowls, turn signal bulb cover thing, and shroud)
- chrome everything
- black headlight bowl/projector, chrome turn signal bowl/bulb cover
- chrome headlight bowl/projector, black turn signal bowl/bulb cover
- black bowls, chrome shroud, chrome turn signal bulb cover
- chrome bowls, black shroud/turn signal cover

again, the eyelids and current black will stay. the only thing that needs tweaked are the stuff inside the bowls (adding projector and changing colors). THANKS!!!!!

large projectors (size needs to stay the same)

mini-projectors (use to sample color for chrome perhaps? its the wrong size though --mini projector vs large projector)

AF im not sure on how to make the headlights black without making the lens looked smoked, but here is just chrome with the silly eyelid.

the best i can do without CS5, no warp tool in my version on this laptop so its a little outta proportion, but you can clearly see all chrome is not the way to go.

I like how yours are now, outside black with chrome bowl. The shroud would look cool black as well I think

thats what i was thinking. chrome projector, chrome bowls the rest stays the same.

as stated in the OP, the bowls are the only thing changing. I will NOT remove the eyelids, tinted side markers or blacked outsides.

i like the blacked theme, but ive never been a fan of the projector look. guess i just have to get used to it. the purpose of staying chrome would be to help it blend in

Daniel, I'm thinking of adding a layer and painting that then also painting the original using the overlay option. But playing with lower percentages.
