So I finally decided to pull the trigger to swap out my 5" OEM radio on my 2014 2500 Tradesman.

Had a local shop install it for me with their hardware.

I wanted something nice with all the "bells and whistles"

The 7100 kinda has that, I say that because i had to buy the SiriusXM module so i could get signal on it.
The OEM back up camera plugged into it with no problem.

The screen is nice and responsive and just started using Android Auto. I get it, its supposed to keep your hands on your phone but, im the type that sees picture messages on red lights and stuff but i cant do that because once you plug in your phone it disables it and screen locks.

Having google maps on your radio is awesome! The voice commands actually work and picks up your voice pretty well (with pioneer included, microphone on the headliner)

I hope Android expands the apps that work with Android Auto, like to use the Torque App and have it show up on your stereo screen would be pretty cool. Also a full weather app would be nice.

Over all, very happy with this unit!

Did they add the idatalink module so you retain your factory controls?

Yes, although my tradesman doesnt have any wheel controls. It only had the voice command for the bluetooth phone on the steering wheel
