If machine shop didn't visually see damage & report then it probably happened there.Yeah, if I would have inspected these pistons when they arrived from where I bought them then the company would have sent me a replacement, however I didn't inspect them until after my local machine shop gave my parts back to me, so I do not know when and how it became damaged.
