Two years ago I replaced my 06' 1500 2WD with a 16' 1500 4WD LS and the rake on the '16 has been bothering me ever since. It seemed to have gotten worse (my imagination I am sure) when I added a set of Nitto Grapplers to the stock rims a few weeks ago. I took this forums advice, made my measurements and decided that level, not lifted was the way to go. Honestly it was the parking garage at work that made that decision for me.

I then researched and debated the block / spring spacer / shock choice waaayy tooo long. I read all the forum posts and watched all the youtube videos. My brain hurts.

I just ordered the Bilstein 5100's with the AirLift 1000 kit. Amazon has the ball.

Now to decide 2.1 or 2.8? geesh......

How much rake do you have? If you don’t want to eventually get bigger tires than you have now 2.1 would probably fit you well

The rake measured at 3" even. The factory tire size is fine with me. And I need keep my 30' TTRV in mind.
