I'm pretty much done blacking my truck out now just need to do the exhaust tips....did the rear badge and wheels and a few interior pieces can't have chrome inside either. I love the look it just needs a bath BAD

Why didn't you dip the lugnuts? Dip holds up well on them. I used to have the same wheels dipped for ab a year

Why didn't you dip the lugnuts? Dip holds up well on them. I used to have the same wheels dipped for ab a year

I thought about it but figured the first time I took the wheels off the lignite would peel....oh well I like the look without dipping them

It still looks good the way you have it. But the dip holds up well for at least a few tire rotations or changes. I still have a set of 20'' stock chromes wheels that are dipped in my garage. I reused the lugs and just redipped them when I changed wheels

I took them off that way I didn't have to tape the brakes off and I put heavy coats on and didn't want runs so taking them off was well worth the time. I didn't tape the tire off either just sprayed right over it then took a razor blade and went around the wheel and peeled the dip right off the tire when I was done

Haha thanks bud I will be getting more practice though...doing my buddy's f150 in a week lol
