I am new here because I need answers, please. I had a rebuild of my NV4500 5 speed manual transmission. I had a backyard mechanic.
When he said it was finished I crawled under my truck and it looks like 3 separate bolts or something that has threads in the bellhousing are not there. Can anyone tell me what is missing? There are 2 on the lower part of the bellhousing and much smaller than the regular bolts. At 5 O'clock and 7 O' clock, what is missing?
There is vibration between 55 mph and 90 mph, which I have never had. I've owned my truck sence 1999, but I am still not a mechanic.
Oh, and my shifting shaft is loose and could be literally screwed off! I am really left in a bind. I don't want my truck with anymore damage!
Thanks! CINDY
