I like the Etorque feature of the 2019 models, but I've still got my 1998 and have just bought my last (hopefully) truck a 2018 tradesman. I'm fixing it up the way I want it, so there isn't any reason to change. While the 19s are nice, it comes at a steep price. The part I really like, is not accounting for inflation, I paid $2k more for my 18 than I did for my 98. So I think the Dodge base models represent a real value in this day of $40-70k pickup trucks!

Didn't vote for any of the options as I didn't see one that fits me. If Beatrice was totaled tomorrow, yes I'd buy another one provided I could find what I wanted. It took me almost a year between selling my Mazda before I found this one. If something else came along that I REALLY liked/wanted, then I might buy that.

Something like an older C10 chevy. A also liked my old '01 Dakota. Might not give me the same functionality as the Ram, but I have to be happy looking at and driving it.

It will be quite a while before I plan to purchase again but the reason I went Ram with my truck was that Ford and GM didn’t have a truck with the options that my Express has for the price tag. GM would have been a 4.3 V6, 17in Wagon looking wheels, and terrible wheelwell gaps with an ugly radio! Who wants that?! So to answer the question, I would probably buy a Ram again, provided I could get a single cab with a V8 engine.

I like my Ram, when I was looking at getting a new truck, I looked at the F-150 with the 5.0 and the same options I have in my Ram. Working with both the Ford and Ram dealers the 2019 Ram was a better price than the 2018 F-150 and the ram had a few more options. I like both trucks (each one of them will possibly have their little issues). I keep my trucks along time (still have my 2003 Dakota I use as a hunting rig) and the Ford aluminum body seems like a good deal as I see GM, Ford and Rams with rusted out wheel wells. My father-law bought a F-150 the same time I got my Ram and it’s a nice truck. I like the looks of the 2019 Ram better than the F-150 and it was a better deal for me.

It was back in Nov and don’t remember exactly, I think about $1500-2000. That was dealing with the salesman, not MSRP. The Ram had the ORP and Group 2 with heated seats and remote start etc. and F-150 didn’t. I’m glad I went with the Ram.

I wouldn’t go as far as using the word fond in my description but I always thought they were ok up until they started puttin’ that EgoBoost in them.

I'm pretty sure I would buy a Raptor as well. A Supercab Raptor, not the Supercrew.

I didn’t vote because it’s not about new tech or newer truck for me. To me It’s all about RAM and Mopar.

If I had more room I’d buy a GEN2 or GEN3 2500 Cummins dually, black on black, and lift it on 35’s. An old school square body power wagon would be at the top of the list too!

So, theoretically, if RAM went to crap and were known as the worst on the market, youd still buy because of loyalty? Just a curve ball for you. This is my third FCA vehicle in a row so I am no stranger to brand loyalty, but doesnt mean things dont change
