Hi,

I have an '03 Ram 3500 diesel (standard trans.) and suspect I need to change the Power Distribution Centre, due to misbehaving lights.

I believe my current PDC is Part No.

68005474AB.

It costs C$957 from Dodge..!

If I go looking at the scrap yard / auto wreckers, which year models' PDC will also work on my truck?

Would it be any '03 - '07 PDC / fusebox?

Or must it be specifically a diesel / a specific year?

Any help much appreciated!

Thanks - D

First, look for any signs of mice or rats chewing on anything, especially wiring, under the hood. I found a rat had chewed my battery blanket; foam under the intake manifold and most important, he'd gotten inside my cowl area and chewed a wiring harness back there, which made my wiper act up. I thought it was the switch or maybe the motor. The dealer found the problem and just fixed the wiring rather than change the harness. Dealers aren't normally supposed to do that, but my truck at that time was 12 or so years old and I'm a good customer, so they did me a solid.
