It happens only at idle while driving. Pretty scary. Any thoughts?

Have you checked the fluid?
Have you had any problems with your brakes

Brakes ok. Fluid level ok without any air bubbles

Slipping serpentine belt? Does it do it at idle regardless of speed? Your battery discharge light ever come on?

This trouble happens only after active ride with more than 1400 rpm! If I drive smooth (less than 1400rpm) everything is OK! So the more aggressive my ride style is, the more time I have to spend waiting when power steering will return!

That is odd. The above 1400 rpms thing does make it sounds a lot like air entrainment. You have gone lock to lock at idle then check the fluid level?
