Deployed my Amp steps measure about 17" to the top of the step from the ground. This is with the 37" tires. Not sure where the factory steps are. My 63 year older mother can now get in my truck.

I measured to the top of the factory steps on my stock PW and it was also about 17". Good to know I can get a similar step up from the ground with 37s and amp steps as the factory setup.

I'd hate to put a hole in my fender! Looks like a good cut

Looks like a clean job. Nicely done. Did u get the pre filter?
No, apparently they’re not offering it anymore (or at least not right now). I wanted the ram air anyway. I hydro’d my engine last month and just got it back the other day with a new mopar engine. I’m not putting a third engine in, so I have to protect myself from myself lol

Welcome to the Dorkel Squad!
Thanks. Just finished tonight. The instructions don’t convey (much like the rest of AEV products’ instructions) how much of a sonuvabitch that thing is to install. It took me probably two hours just to get the two tubes inside the fender to mate up. Drilling the holes was actually the easiest part.

Any finalized pics?

I installed the Thuren Overland front yesterday and I am extremely happy with it. Truck sits dead level to my eyes, rides great, and no need for an alignment. It tracks straight down the road and I didn’t even need to adjust the steering wheel alignment. Quality parts from Thuren, fast shipping, and I will likely order more from them in the future.

Shell looks like it fits nice. What brand, and do you recommend it?
