I am replacing the exhaust manifold gaskets and having the warped manifolds resurfaced. I got all new Mopar hardware and gaskets. The manifold bolts have a brownish pre-applied dry threadlocker on them. From my research I found that dry threadlocker has encapsulated hardener/activator that will be made active by being crushed open during the screwing and torquing of the bolt into the cylinder head. So, from what I found I should not need to do anything in addition to bolting up the manifold and torquing to 18ft/lb. Is this correct?
Thanks,
