I recently picked up a 2012 and am going through some maintenance items. Do you have a preferred brake over oem? I've used hawk, ebc, stoptech, and various el cheapo AutoZone deals. However none were stopping a 7500lb vehicle.

I've been told the exhaust brake makes a massive difference and helps take some load off of the braking system however I also want to make sure I've got good binders on it. I don't have any dislike for oem products, I've just found some other aftermarket pads and rotors may have a little edge. Longevity isn't important, maximum stopping power is.
