Hey guys i tried searching and i couldn't find anything with the key words i was using..

I have an 06 standard cab ram and I'm looking to swap the passenger door. I have read that a quad cab door won't work but the person sellingn one swears up and down it does. Does anyone know if it's a direct replacement? Thanks in advance for any help

They absolutely do not
The Ram part number for quad and regular cab, front door, appears to be the same.
Where did you see that lol?

Absolutely not. In addition to about a 6" length difference (look at the door panels):

The rear edge is different:

That little diddy right there....Not questioning your excellent response, but that is where I was getting that from. I'll go back to the corner.

I trust sites like that about as far as I can throw a car lol. I always get part numbers first, then see if they have them because these ******* and their "applications/fitment chart" will screw you every time.
