I have a 2011 QUADCAB and have these two plastic covers that do not sit flush. No matter how much I push them in and manipulate the teeth, they keep popping up. Has anyone replaced these? Here is a pic of them that I found online:

Have they always popped up since new or is it a age thing? If both are doing it, I gonna say an age thing and suggest maybe seeing if you can file or trim to bring down the interference fit causing them to warp.

I bought the truck used last November and they've been like that. I saw a thread on ram forumz and they mentioned the problem but no solution. It isn't the teeth cuz I accidentally broke one and it still sits raised. I may just file it and be over it! Thanks

Mine on the drivers side will slightly pop up since new but everytime I'm at the dealer I forget about it.

I saw some other forum online mention that there is some advisory about it. Maybe the dealer may know about this.

Sorry, I hadn't seen your question. I fixed mine by popping them out and inserting my index finger to "stretch" or widen the clip/hook thingy. When I popped them back in, they were flush...

Manipulate the clip at the bottom of the picture (above)
