Just bought a new Ram R/T. Nice truck in all respects but, I've noticed it has a tendency to pull left. It's beginning to drive me nuts. Took it to the dealer and they say it's within specs (Isn't what they always say?).

Anyone else have this problem and where you able to find a solution?

assume you checked the tire pressure? mine came with 1 slightly lower then the others so it pulled a tad. also could be a bad rotor or bearing

Checked tire pressure. Rotated tires front to rear. Rotors are not sticking.

Do you see storm drains on the left side of the roads youre driving on? If so the roads may just be crowned that way. Did you get a spec sheet from the dealer after they put it on the rack?

No spec sheet. I'll take it back again and ask for one.

yeah that'll do it too however i think the steering assist kinda compensates for that.

The old school way was to put the caster a little less on the left to compensate for road crown, nowadays though they don't want people letting go of the steering wheel on a flat road on going into oncoming traffic so it usually is set up to go straight on a road with zero crown. Mine also pulls left and the left front tire is chopping. The dealer reset the toe but it still pulls to the left because they didn't fix whatever angle is causing the pull.

Same thing happened to me, but it was to the right. I even had them write in a work order for it when I bought the truck. They tested it, said the same bull chit, it is the road and it was aligned correctly. So leveled it with coil spacers and it even got a little worse. Took off the spacers for another reason, and long story short went with bilstiens level and had it aligned, drives straight as an arrow. I had it aligned after the coil spacer as well, and I have no idea why it still pulled right after that and with the new level it doesn't at all, but hey it's fixed. I tell you from now on when I test drive a truck and it pulls even a little, I am not buying it unless the fix it before I pay for it.

I thought the rear could "track" a bit different from the front due to some "adjusting", not sure though.

Unless you have adjustable rear control arms, then its adjustable

Something I noticed today. If I'm coasting it seems to track pretty straight. If I'm accelerating or traveling above 40-50 mph, it tends to pull. I have 500 miles on the truck and the tires look good. I'm just worried the frame might not be square in which case, the truck will have to go.

I just traded my 05 F150 and that truck tracked straight and true up until the day I traded it.

On a positive note, the dealership I bought it from is Hell bent to make me happy, whatever it takes. Great customer service so far! We'll see what the long haul brings.

If the frame werent square it would pull when coasting or all the time. Out of curiosity is this truck an open diff?

It has a "anti-spin" differential according to the window sticker.
