The Pulsar has had good and bad reviews. I've been wanting one but all the negative reviews talking about how the truck went haywire after using them has made me gun shy. Supposedly the manufacturer has worked out the kinks. Does anyone have first hand knowledge within the last 6 months or so on how the Pulsar has been working?

Well, not sure if you have a new or classic but I have had 2 different pulsars, one on a 17 and one on a 19 classic.
My only complaint from it is that it supposedly shuts off MDS but what it really does is when mds kicks on pulsar shuts it off so it pulsates and is obnoxious. The exhaust in stock isnt bad but if you have or plan on a different muffler its real obvious.
After I figured out whats what with my 17 I just selected 8th gear on the wheel and moved on.
Everyone will say "save the money and just get a custom tune". That works for some and not for others as the cost of a hand held and unlocked pcm can be a bit much.
I got the pulsar at 30k ish miles due to warranty, replaced with greene tune at 50ish and dont regret 1minute of using the pulsar.
Bought a pulsar for my 19 classic at like 800 miles, ran it the same way till about 8k miles and now have a unlocked pcm and handheld running a canned 91 tune till I get the $ to send to Mr Greene again

Thanks Ramm! I've got a '19 Classic. I always drop it into 8th gear anyway. Guess I'll pull the trigger and order one.

I have had mine on for a month been real happy with it, have seen the bad reviews but so far no problems with idle jumping around. I did take to my mechanic for fear of breaking clips or not installing properly
