I was wondering if anyone knows if a transmission from a 1500 will fit in a 2500hd

Regardless if it fits or not I would not be looking to put a light duty transmission in a heavy duty truck. Just sayin'.

Well...the trucks are essentially the same...so it will fit...but lets say it does not because it is a bad idea
