Questions on alphaOBD

Hello guys, good morning.

I've got a 17 ram 2500 and I just can't stand the stupid tpms warning for the rear tires going off at 64 psi any longer.

I have a few questions.

I already have an OBDII link and software. The cable will link my windows laptop to my truck, will that cable work with alpha OBD?

I believe this is the cable I have presently:

Is there a section in the alphaOBD thread on how to lower the tpms thresholds? I read a few pages of it but wasn't sure. I may have missed it.

How do I obtain my trucks security code? Will the dealer give it to me if I call them? Or can I get it some other way?

I'm sick of having to run so much air pressure to keep that stupid warning from going off.

That cable will work perfect for the laptop

AlphaOBD is the cats meow!

The important stuff is great, like activating backup cam, remote start, transfer case swap, etc.

But the little things it can do are badass too. Like my mini-key.

The fob key bugged me. It sticks out too far. I bought a cheap base model key on amazon, cut the blade off and programmed it.

It only sticks out about an inch.

Update:

Alexey is great to work with! He was very helpful and provided great product support.

I ended up having to purchase obd link mx+ as my obdlink sx was having connectivity issues.

The mx+ and a bluetooth adapter for my laptop arrived today and after I pared the obdlink mx+ to my laptop I was able to successfully update/lower my tpms thresholds. I set them to 40 psi front and rear and I adjusted the tire pressures to 58 psi.

No tpms warnings anymore!
