I need to replace my radiator ( leaking..ugh) .
Has anyone gotten one from rock auto .com? Or Napa? My buddy manages a napa so I can get a good price. But I see rock auto has radiators for half the price...not sure on the quality though.

Thanks in advance

CFC or TYC are the name brands that I know of, what is the brand name? I was looking at aluminum as well, but I don't think the juice is worth the squeeze.

I don't go to a Auto Parts Store for anything to do with a radiator, they have way to much overhead & you pay for it.

I go directly to a 100% Radiator Shop, in my town there are least 3 radiator shops

They can either fix your radiator leaks, take your radiator apart & replace the bad part, or order in a brand new radiator,. It is so much much cheaper than a Autozone, ORiellys, Advance or Pep Boys, etc.

I would also check Rock Auto' prices against the radiator shops price

Rock Auto uses UAC , Denso and OSC, TYC
And prices are from $91 to $142..
Napa is around $200..just trying to figure out to go cheap or spend the money

TYC is usually okay but you can get bad from any maker. So I would get it where I can get it the cheapest. Especially with Auto parts store brands you never know who makes the part anyway.

I got the same brake and rotor kit that autozone sells for $250+ at rockauto for $80.

RA has awesome prices.

For quality, its all about what brand you get. A tip though if your unsure which brand to get, most times there is a little heart next to a part that shows its a popular choice. See pic

Ive never had issues with parts just following the little heart

Ended up going with a radiator from Napa at $180..it's a Denso brand. Rock Auto was cheaper at $112. But for the radiator and upper/lower hoses... shipping was $140!!!
Ummm...no thank you... would have been $360+ dollars including shipping...lol

$140 shipping must've been for 1 day. That's the rub if you can't wait for normal ground delivery.

Just ordered a radiator for my '02 1500, took 4 days to get here, but was still 1/2 of the local cost.
