I am having a issue with my radio/backup camera just shutting down on my 2018 Ram 2500 Tradesman. I have checked all the fuses and wiring, has anyone else had this issue?

I was having the same intermittent issue with mine as well last year. Mine is a 2016.. Did a search here and got the feeling that a loose connection was somewhat common. I opened up the tailgate access panel and took the assembly out. Unplugged the camera and sprayed it with electrical cleaner as mentioned above. I then applied some die-electric grease to the "male" connector body and seal, plugged it back together and made sure it was mated well. I then wrapped the connection with 3M electric tape, leaving a pig tail so I could unwrap it easily if needed in the future.
Absolutely no camera issue since.
Sorry, just saw this. The plug is round with a simple tension clip. Not real strong and easy to unplug. Probably why there are so many reports of issues.. The video feed cable should lock in tighter.Do you remember if the camera plug just pulls off or is there a lock on it? My camera was doing the same thing, I pulled the inspection plate off and jiggled the connector. The camera works again now, but I did not want to force the plug. If it happens again I want to do the contact cleaner and the dielectric grease.
Thanks
