on my 2016 ram 1500 my radio quit working, want to get a used one from auto wrecker has the same part number , of 68271365AD
will it work ? or will i need to do something else ?

Have you checked the inline fuse?

it is not the fuse, my buttons are worn out and falling off
so i would like to change the whole unit

Its pretty easy to take the radio out to check the part number. Takes about 5 minutes if you wanted to get a compatible part. Generally speaking, that RA2 part number you posted should be compatible. Lots of forum members who have upgraded probably have them available if you wanted to check the forum classifieds or posted a "want to buy" there.

Ok got replacement radio from a wrecker with the same part # When i plug it in turn on the key it askes for a code where do i get that code from ?

CAVEAT: I do not know if this site is legitimate, but there are multiple posts all over on how to get the code.
