I've had several issues with mine. It's been to the dealership for repairs about 8 times. Ramcares gave me a free extended warranty for my "inconvenience".

Use 3M panel bonding adhesive, not the stuff sold DIY stores, clamp it, let it cure. Good to go.

"anyone have a delam of the ram box panels / or recommend any glue to put it back on?"

I am currently in the same situation in S.Florida. Right side De-Lam and Left side Bad fit and finish.

The dealerships proposed solution is to replace both Ramboxes entirely! Looks like a money-grab to me!

We certainly understand why this would be concerning. If you are not able to determine a solution based on suggestions from fellow forum members and you decide to address this with your Ram dealer, feel free to follow up with us via private message. We would be more than willing to escalate your situation to a specialist who can work alongside you and your dealer while your truck is in service.

Yea that makes sense...replace the warped rambox with a brand new rambox that they have never updated so it is essentially the same thing...idiots.

Replace under warranty I assume? These boxes are practical, but fit and finish are a crap shoot and the latching mechanism needs a redesign that's functional. Dealer hemmed and hawed around with mine until they finally messed it up and I had to fix it myself. The "applique" separated from the lid because double-sided tape is used during assembly and when exposed to days of high temps, the adhesives fail. They need to be secured with 3M body adhesive The lids are still warped and do not seal completely because the latch is not adjustable. The bump stops on the corners are useless and will rust if not kept clean and metal protected with a lube or rust inhibitor.

I had major issues with mine as well. After several attempts at the dealership and one replacement I finally gave up and had a friend of mine that owns a paint and body shop fix and align them. Much, much better now.

Ram cares was of no help either. Their only suggestion was to try a different dealership.

Man, mine have not been too much of an issue for me. They are certainly not perfect, but they are close (as far as fit an finish). Havnt had any delamination issues at all. But I am up in northern michigan.

I still love my rambox and would want them if I got a new truck, but I sure as hell wish the doors fit better.

Anybody know how the 5th gen setup is on the half ton body style?

Ram box is the only thing I really didn't want, but at the time the only Power Wagon I could find had them. Damn glad I have them now. Even with the fit/finish issues I've had, I love them.
