Looks like you have to opt for a Rebel or higher trim level, and even then they're only available for the 6'4" bed on the 2500.

I purchased a 2025 RAM 2500 Diesel Limited. It currently has 7800 miles on it. The RAM Boxes were on it when I went to pick it up out of State and was a bit shocked at first. One box never worked as in opened and unlocked with the remote. Then I took it to a local dealer and it took 4 visits before they could figure out how to fix it and or replace it. The story I received it that RAM has had nothing but trouble with the RAM Boxes. Even in 2025 the locking mechanism has been completely reworked or renovated and a new supplier is now making them. I have considered trading it in for the regular sized without a RAM Boxes option. Otherwise I absolutely love the truck overall.

I like my Rambox.

That said I have had some issues.
The plastic connectors on the locking mechanism have broke at least twice.

Right now the driver’s side light switch is stuck in the off position. It did this one other time and I lubed it with dry lube and it worked for at least a year. This time I’m thinking about replacing the switch.

They do limit how much inside the bed space but they do keep you from having stuff in the cab or buying a toolbox.

If I had a Megacab I’m not sure I would have a Rambox then.

I have them too now. First time in four trucks. They are okay…….. I find I don’t use them as much as I would have thought and I wish I had been able to have normal bed with the multifunction tailgate like my 22 model. Much more use to me. Oh well. Still a great truck. The ram box lids still look like crap. You can see the distortions in the fibreglass panels if you look and they are also not aligned well. Just what it is. Difficult to load dirt and stuff over side with a loader at garden centre without damage! Possible but not ideal.

I agree with the shoddy construction. As much as I paid for the 2025 2500 Limited the fit and finish are lacking. They never look like they are really closed all the way. The gab between the lid and the side panels are not even all the way around. Otherwise I like it.

Some of the folks responding here don't have HD's, so you may want to filter those. I've had 2 HD MegaCab's with RamBoxes. I did have one issue with the older one, the plastic linkage broke once, making it so the boxes did not lock with the rest of the truck. Easy and cheap fix though. They seal well and I use them all the time. I really like the RamBox option, and it is one of the primary reasons I own a Ram truck.
