well RAM Cares hasn't done a thing for me. Had a case escalated and FCA told me to screw myself basically. I'm stuck with a poorly welded drag link and a crooked steering wheel. Good luck.

And you did PM Katilin @RamCares correct?

She's been wonderful helping get them replaced. If you did and the answer was no, I would like to know the reason why as you'd be the first one since they have been offering to replace them that was told no.

Yeah she assured me I would too but the fca guy said no. I gave her my case number and his name.

That's not good. Hopefully she can get that ironed out. I'd be extremely upset driving with a crooked steering wheel. Exactly the reason I refused to have my OEM link welded. Good luck man. Hope @RamCares can pull through for you.

Like I said in private messages, we reassigned your case to the team handling drag link replacements. They will be in touch to set it up. Your first case was denied for the headlight concern.

Yup I just got that this morning. It's interesting how one person basically gives you the finger and someone else with the same department is willing to put a situation right. Appreciate that Kaitlin. I'll definitely brag about it as soon as I see a part.

Thanks again!

@RamCares got it approved. The dealer won't answer the calls from the FCA rep's to schedule the repair. They told me to go to the dealer and tell them to answer the call from FCA. Not sure how that is supposed to work.

haha Good luck with that. I personally think when things are under warranty a company should do all they can to keep the customer happen. As long as it's within reason. This drag link thing was kind of a nightmare. Welding an adjustable part? Come on. I'll just be happy to have a straight steering wheel again.

When mine was done, they were going to weld it. I told the service advisor there was an FCA case open to replace it. The service advisor told me that only the service manager had access to the cases, and she able to confirm the case with the manager to replace it, so they replaced it the same day.

Not sure if it’s the same way at your dealer, maybe worth checking in with the manager....

Thanks Katilin.

I'll second Ram Cares, Kathryn did mine, she pushed it up to a supervisor, and mine goes in Friday for the draglink.
Took couple dealers to honor it, but end of the day it will be taken care of.

Good luck.

I wish I could get that far. The service manager won't answer the call from FCA to setup the appointment.

If Stellantis is really serious about making their new name a good thing, they should crack down on dealers like that.

Is there another dealer in range?
It took 3 to get one, even the dealer I bought from refused.

This one is supposed the "best" in the area. I guess "best" is all relative. Seems a bit ridiculous that Stellantis lets their representatives blow them off like that. I realize each dealer is independently owned and operated. However, they must have some sort legal agreement between them that should spell out standards for customer service and responding to the manufacturers representatives. The dealer is the "face" of Stellantis to its' customers.

Hello, we will reach out to the dealership and see what the issue is. I will follow up with you in our message thread.

Got a call from Chrysler today. They have reached out to the local dealer and let them know a new drag link is on the way. Once it gets there, I'll get an appointment set. Thanks Kaitlin!!!

Kaitlin @RamCares should be able to run that to ground and aet them straight or advise you where a competent dealer is that will take care of you. That is absolutely deplorable.
