I beat my sons G C on AZ hard pack 3 out of 3 try's. How is this possible? Jeep has the full traction control set on sand, my 1500 only has 4 lock.

When you say that you only have 4X4 Lock, I guessing you saying you don't have the Auto 4X4 button.
That means you have the BW 44-45 part time transfer case. No electronic traction control needed, power is put to both the front and rear no matter what.
Your probably better off turning the traction control off, especially if you have the factory LSD in the rear.
