So I finally talked to someone with some knowledge on the issue. You guys are correct, anyone with the previous recall repairs N08, N63, R16, and N49 are eligible for the buy back. This also includes anyone who already had these recalls fixed. This is according to Jeremy the customer service rep.
I also asked the question about aftermarket additions to the truck. He said that was a very good question, but the "special handling team" would have to figure that out. I truly hope they take this into consideration. As many of us have thousands of dollars invested into our trucks.
What do you think would happen if you show up to do the "buy back" and both front and rear bumpers are gone? lol I'm not just giving them away.

Sorry, but buying a vehicle back that's been successfully repaired is simply not going to happen as a part of any 'recall buyback' program.
Now, I'm sure you could take it in and use it as a trade in, and a 'slick-*****' Sales person might even get you to believe it's 'part of the program' but I challenge anyone to drive in with a fully repaired vehicle and walk out with a check anywhere near the retail value of your vehicle.
Any takers?
I just want to know that I can get anything else fixed. I already did the pinion nut. I want to keep my truck.![]()

Oh I'm definitely going to try.
I've been searching everywhere to see if there was a vin search for trucks that are part of the buyback. I'm praying my 2011 1500 is part of it. I've been trying to unload it ever since the front diff failed hard and chrysler refused to warranty it because of a 'missing fill cap' even though there was diff fluid all over the engine bay.

I have a hard time believing this as well, but he said regardless if it has been fixed or not, just has to be listed on your vehicles VIN. Look at his exact words.
I just had a chat with someone at dodge. They said the recall is for the pinion nut. I had mine fixed already. He said I'll still be getting a letter in the mail.
IMHO you can bet that Fiat is going to minimize there losses anyway they can, although I think that is what caused them to have this problem in the first place. If you think that they are going to be "fair" with you, you must be using that green leafy stuff they sell in Colo.

'It does not distinguish',,, Probably because no one figured someone with successful repairs and no outstanding recalls would be asking them to buy their truck back, so that question/approved response was not entered into Jeremy call canter database,,
This "Jeremy' guy on ~chat~,,, Ya gotta ask yourself,,,, Is he the one who sat through all this with the Attorneys, knows all there is about every detail of the agreement, or is he just a person at a terminal typing questions into a keyboard and reading what pops up on the screen?,
'It does not distinguish' is the same as saying 'My screen doesn't mention if it will or will not include buying back a vehicle that has already been repaired successfully". It is only Jeremy's opinion that it would include repaired vehicles.
Unless you believe ~Jeremy~ is authorized to cut you a check on FCA's behalf, everyone needs to re-evaluate who you're speaking with,,, Might be nothing more than a chat session with a screen-reader,,,
