Ram projector headlight dtmoto review?

the some of the LEDs started to flicker in the parking lights, so im not very happy with that aspect of them, but otherwise they are nice, good fit, clean look and great visibility, just the whole LEDs screwing up is kind of killing it

So did the led's stay permanently messed up or they happen to fix themselves? Lol

Like how many led's messed up? Super noticeable?

I'm tempted to get some of these but not sure if I wanna chance dealing with the led's acting up.

actually both sets i have now are screwing up and it is a permanent mess up, and its the entire LED parking light thats flickering

Did you reach out to the vendor?

I think our design may be a little different, from our PMs. I see no way to get to the flap wires without opening up the housing.

Sorry I don’t have any install pictures, it was in the high 30’s and I wanted to get it done. First impression (I love it)... After one night driving, I do need vertical adjustment as the cut off is too short for highway driving. The HIDs with the halogen bulbs for high beams are really really bright.






It was still daytime, I was heading out of town so I had to get ready:

I think it is just the LED refresh rate, when looking at the camera while taking the picture, I could see it, I guess when I took the picture it was partically in between.

Ok, so, the vertical adjustment was way too low. I was able to figure out how to adjust it. Just a note, it is just like the factory adjusters, but instead of using a T20 bit, you need to use a T30. Also note, that on these the adjuster gear is plastic (the teeth that engage with the T bit), so be careful. I had to use my bore scope as a light through the holes next to the adjuster holes to guide the tool into the slot.

So far, I really like these...

i was able to use a long phillips to adjust mine, and your street output looks just like mine, one thing i noticed with these and yours has the same, is the step in the projector is a little much, i wish it was about half as tall

Yeah, I can see the philips working well to adjust it (as long as the teeth line up).

For others, learn from my lesson, take a look at the adjuster BEFORE the install. Make sure you find a tool that will fit, and is narrow enough to fit the fender access hole. I gave up trying after, and pulled out the passenger side housing to figure it all out after.

RE: your comment about the height of the step, do you think that if we play with the drivers side (raise it, or lower the passenger side) we may be able to have more overlap so the step is less noticeable? I'm ok with the step, just throwing ideas around.

you probably could but im extremely OCD about the cutoff being flat, so i couldn't live with it, if i take mine apart again ill probably mod the projectors to have less of a step

^ the heat from the projectors causes the paint to melt/burn. Chrome seems to deal with the heat better
