Random shut off while driving

Long time lurker, and now have a question. I searched but didnt find anything definitive. Today while driving in traffic my truck randomly shut the motor off. I was probably going 40 and I didnt even notice until I tried to accelerate again. The power steering, brakes and all electronics acted completely normal. The only thing that popped up was the message saying "shift to P to start". I pulled over and it restarted just fine. Any one ever hear of the actual cause of this?

My 2004 Ram with hemi did this. The fuel pump was on the verge of dying.

Check for stored codes. If you don't have a code reader any Autozone, Advanced or other part stores will check them for you.
