I have a 2005 ram 5.7 hemi 128,000 shifts great and everything but randomly if I sit in gear or go from reverse to drive or vice versa it stalls not all the time just once in awhile. No check light I changed EGR valve have done oil and tranny fluid newer plugs and things done I changed cam sensor and just cleaned throttle body and reset took it for a drive seemed like running good sat in gear when got home for a bit put in reverse and drive few times then rpm dropped and stalled. I’m lost on what could causing this everything I’ve found said either tranny fluid low bad cam sensor throttle body needing cleaned now is it possible it could be bad fuel pump?? Anyone have ideas much appreciated

So the engine dies when you put it into gear? When i hear of odd electrical gremlins my first thought is the battery is weak. Maybe try a load test on your batt.

Yes not all the time just sometimes or if I’m sitting idle in gear actually I just bought a new battery about a month ago. Could fuel pump or regulator on tailpipe cause that type of issue?
