Is the V8 or V6 more popular with RCSB configuration?
When the V8 goes into ECO mode , deactivates, might even get better mpg than V6 on flat ground?

Get the 8 speed, either engine you prefer! ZF makes the 8 speed in our trucks , the same trans is on Maserati, audi , bmw, and I think Jaguars use em now too. Probably the best automatic transmission on the planet. ZF has been the boss since the boss became the boss from what I have heard about transmissions in the last few decades.

Not sure what the official sales numbers are, but the most popular 1 in my driveway is v8-8. ;)

Hemi with the 8 spd no matter what! It completely dominates the 6 spd in every category except for trans tuning lol.

I have the v6 with 8 speed and it is actually surprising me with its acceleration and all around power. It has 310hp and I generally get 20-22 mpg, but I drive 60 miles round trip to work on the highway at 75mph.

The 845RE 8 speed made by Chrysler under license from German company, ZF, has a first gear of 4.0:1 compared to the standard V6 speed standard for V8 of 3.0:1 for first gear and the V8 is 200# heavier than V6.
