Hey. New to the forum, just bought a 2011 ram 1500. Seems that the 4 link bars in the rear have bushings that are wore out and creating a lot of axle wrap and a little clunking. Has anyone had to change these yet? And if so what size are they? I can't seem to find any outside if the dealer.

Not a common issue...? Well I suppose its not. Not be n something so new, I'm not up to speed on these yet so I don't know what years that put coils in the rear....thought maybe someone with a different year ram has the same coil setup and had to replace these, i guess it goes to the dealer Tuesday.

I don't think it is...I asked cuz I have a jeep cherokee with over 350k on it, and it still has the original front 4 link bushings, and they are still passable

Hmmm....weird, these are pretty bad, u can feel the rear end move when u let off the break. Doesn't look like I will be able to fix it myself. Can't find replacement bushings.

You may want to check...there are several other things that can give you that same feeling (driveshaft slipjoint, bad transmission mount, etc).

Can you get the whole link/bar ? That's what I had to do to replace the bushings in the front of my 97 ctd 3500 dually. Sold the bushings for all BUT the 1 ton, and I had the 1 ton. I think the links were 40 each or something at the dealer.

Its for sure the bushings, verified by rocking the truck back and forth and watching the link bars. I found replacement bars, all 4 of them for around $400....was just hoping I could replace the bushings. I bought it from the dealer last Saturday, taking it back to see if they will cover it. Also will have 4000 miles of factory warranty left but don't think that will cover bushings.
